Account suspension:
by Peter Petterson
I have been blogging for many years on a variety of sites and platforms. Some years ago after opening a Google account, i also opened a Google Adsense account as well to try and make a few pennies by allowing adverts on my posts. I actually had a team of Blogger blogs with a variety of genres.
I had earned about US$40.00 after a couple of years or so. But out of the blue my account was suspended without prior notice.. After two or three emails to Google Adsense I finally received an answer that I had broken the terms of my account. I can only presume that i had accidently clicked on adverts on one of my posts.
But that was the final answer from Google Adsense. I sent a number of messages to them later, but was told my account was suspended, and later I no longer had an Google Adsense account with my main Google account. My earnings were deleted.
As I live outside of the United States I’m unable to actually physically visit the company’s HQ.
My advice to any blogger contemplating opening an Adsense Account is to be very, very careful because your account could be not only suspended, but deleted along with your earnings.
They do not let you appeal your account suspension. They charge, sentence and hang you all in one breath. It is extremely unfair. They should give you at least one warning and an explanation where you had actually transgressed.
