Whitebait could be extinct by 2050…

A traditional Kiwi delicacy could become extinct:

A New Zealand ecologist is giving a dire warning about a traditional kiwi delicacy.

Massey University’s Dr Mike Joy says if changes to our water quality don’t happen soon, whitebait will be extinct by 2050.

He points out that “74% of native fish are listed as a threatened species”, which is higher than any other country.
